Mooresville Schools Safety Initiatives
Providing a safe and secure learning environment for our students and staff is a top priority for the administration of Mooresville Schools. The Mooresville Schools Police Department and administration meet regularly to discuss safety issues within our school buildings, on our campuses, and at any school-sponsored events. They receive input from the school board, administration, school improvement teams, parents, community members, local law enforcement and safety personnel and insurance companies. Mooresville also has several staff members who are certified Indiana School Safety Specialists.
Our schools follow the nationally recognized Standard Response Protocol system. Standard Response Protocol includes unified responses for various scenarios, such as securing the building due to a situation outside the campus, responding to an individual medical situation in the building, etc. Please review the Standard Response Protocol Information Sheet to learn about the response codes.
