Greetings, Northwood Family! I am excited and honored to be the Principal for Northwood Elementary School. It is my mission, as principal, to support our teachers and parents in providing the best possible opportunities for our students. As a parent, I understand the importance of reaching children where they are and helping them grow as learners. As a teacher, I understand the need to stimulate academic opportunity and encourage students to become lifelong learners. As an administrator, my intention is to create an environment in which teachers are encouraged to maximize their instruction while children excel in their social and academic development by:
- Creating a safe learning environment
- Producing a climate that welcomes creativity and innovation
- Honoring accomplishments of students and staff
- Establishing partnerships within the community.
I am eager to meet and learn about every student in our building and help them reach their potential. I look forward to a productive partnership between home, school, and community.
The elementary years represent an important journey in the development of your child.
